Camping Association of Serbia presented a new brochure with the camping potential in the Danube region on the Danube Tourist Commission held in Belgrade, 2nd – 6th December in Hotel “Continental”. This was the first manifestation where Camping Association of Serbia presented the camping potential of the Danube region, with the great interest of the participants of the Danube Tourist Commission, considering the fact that the camping capacities along the Danube flow through Serbia have been neglected up till now. We truly believe that the initiative of the Camping Association of Serbia will be fruitful and that it will result in building new campsites along the Danube.
Danube Tourist Commission – DTC, was founded in 1970, with the aim of making the Danube region more popular in the world and in doing so help the development of tourism in member countries. In the Danube Tourist Commission the countries that have been cooperating for 38 years are Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Romania and Serbia, while the Republic of Moldavia participates as a member observing (Bulgaria was excluded from the Commission work in 2007 due to non performing its obligations). This year a General Commission Congress was held in Belgrade within the Danube Tourist Commission, as well as the 12th Shipping conference and 2nd Cycling conference.
